A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM BEC

 


Dear Customer:



Your July electricity bill reflected a fuel charge of $0.1844783/kWh which included both Customs Duty and Stamp Tax assessments. 


You may recall that the two year tax holiday approved by the Government for BEC expired on June 30th 2010. However, BEC did not advise its customers of this expiration and its billing implications.


The Corporation apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
